With that being said, I definitely recommend getting involved in any way that you can, especially within campus life and opportunities within your major, which can be easier to make friends too. Like any school, whatever you put into it, you’ll get out of it. I attended community college due to the pandemic, but throughout my almost two years at the college, I have loved being involved on campus and exploring the many opportunities that have been presented to me. Sophomore: Many stereotypes are made about community colleges, but I have not received the experience that is portrayed to be looked down upon.

At BCC, I can afford the tuition, I have excellent professors who are knowledgeable and compassionate, and as a physically disabled single mother returning to school after many years, I greatly appreciate the support services. All but one of my BCC professors have been exceptionally wonderful teachers (Significantly better than the professors at my former college) and BCC offers far more in available student support services.
